The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong has expressed its support to equality, tolerance and understanding within the society by both morally and financially supporting the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, which took place from 19 September to 10 October 2015. Even though there was no Czech film on the screen this year, the Consulate General has conveyed a message to the audience that the Czech Republic is a friendly destination irrespective of their sexual orientation, confirming a long-standing commitment of the Czech Republic to protect and promote human rights in their universality.
