Dvořák: His Music and Life in Pictures

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic would like to invite you to enjoy together with us Antonín Dvořák´s music on Friday September 8th.
 

Czech Republic has a long and illustrious history, with renowned figures emerging in various fields. In the realm of music, the composer Antonín Dvořák holds great fame. If you wish to delve deeper into Dvořák's remarkable and vibrant life through music.

The concert is organized by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong and co-hosted by Tom Lee Music. It will take place on September 8th at 7:30 PM at All Saints Cathedral, 11 Pak Po Street Mong Kok, Hong Kong. The event will feature a repertoire of Dvořák's compositions, including solo pieces, four-hand piano compositions, and piano-violin duets.

Recently, the illustrator Renáta Fučíková released a picture book titled "Dvořák: His Music and Life in Pictures," which vividly portrays Dvořák's extraordinary journey. Ms. Fučíková will be in Hong Hong to give a talk on the creative project behind her book. You can get a sneak-peak into the life of Dvořák at the pop-up exhibition that will open on the day of the concert and that will be opened to public for a week.
