Schengen visa
A uniform Schengen (short-stay) visa allows its holder to stay in the Schengen Area for the duration identified in the visa, which can be 90 days at most. It is issued for one entry, two entries or multiple entries and as an airport transit visa.
Holders of Taiwanese passport do not need a Schengen visa for short-term stays up to 90 days provided their ID number is stated in the passport.
Please note that even if you are a citizen of a country whose citizens are generally visa-free, the visa-free regime applies only to short stays up to 90 days of non-profit nature in the Czech Republic. If your purpose of stay in the Czech Republic is short-term employment or another paid activity, you still need to apply for a Schengen visa.
